How do i charge and initial payment and then a recurring payment at a lower cost?

Like 10.00 initial membership and then $5 per month

Yes. You can simply setup the subscription plan as follow :

1. Set recurring subscription of that plan to Yes.

2. Set the price to 5$

3. Set trial amount to 15$ (10$ for the setup fee and 5$ payment for the first month)

4. Set trial duration to 1 month.
