New Members/Subscribers Not Automatically Enabled

I have my Joomla installation set up to automatically activate new users without forcing them to click an activation e-mail link. However, new users created through the subscription process are getting created as activated but not enabled (blocked), so they cannot log in on subsequent site visits until I manually enable them from the back end. How do I fix this? See attached screen shots.'

You can use the solution below :

1. Go to Users->Users manage

2. Click on Options button in the toolbar

3 Look at the option "New User account activation", set it to None.

After that, users will be activated automatically (no need for activation).

they are activated, however, they are not enabled
Can not find the soluton for weeks now... really frustarting
