We are so close to finishing the project. Thank you for your assistance with the new upgrade.
I posted on another person's topic but thought I ought explain what we are doing with our and our challenge.
1. Client has several subscription plans. One is a monthly recurring membership through paypal. They have an account and have set up the various levels of membership/subscription. But not sure how the recurring monthly membership will work.
2. The recurring year long membership of $250 which they want to have paid on a monthly basis. This averages out to $20.83 per month.
3. I also see a potential problem as there are not equal amounts of days in each month and, here in the United States, we have an extra day in the calendar every four years.
4. So, how do I set the recurring membership up correctly?
5. Does it automatically take payment out of members/subscriber's paypal account or credit card or do they have to go in to paypal each month and pay?
6. Once membership is over, does it automatically deactivate.
7. Testing through paypal has been a problem as it is obvious I am not setting this up correctly. I keep getting a "wrong link" error.
I thank you in advance for your assistance.

1. For monthly subscription plan, please set the subscription plan to 30 days. The subscription price to the amount of money which users have to pay each month.
2. When the subscription expired, it will be renewed automatically. Paypal will charge user and notify the system so that it can update users status (re-activate his membership, change his subscription expired date...). Users won't have to renew manually.
Infact, each time the renewal process happens, users will be renewed 30 days. It is not renewed "one month" in this case.
Hope my explanation is clear to you !

Tuan

Please explain this further.
I NEED the renewal to be applied on a specified day of the month every month .. NOT every 30 days. For example if the memeber wants to renewal to be charged on the first day of the month every month (or the 15th or the day the menmeber chooses) how can i set it to do that? Setting it to renew every 30 days means it will reset on a different cday of th emonth every month and eventually twice in one month.

Unfortunately, the requirement is not supported by Paypal API and we could not do it. We have no way to force user to be renewed on a specific day of the month, Paypal doesn't allow us to do that and It is not possible.
