This is something I would like too and I had an idea (possibly for future development.) At the moment Membership Pro only enables a user after payment. Would it be possible to give a config option to enable from the application form to enable users before payment and log them and their session will remain after payment, as for currently logged in users? I realise that may not suite everyone, but users can register on my site without buying anything so having them enabled only on the basis of the form works for me (and I suspect others.)
