New Users Always Blocked

New Users Always Blocked was created by Graham Young
After Paying and the account gets created, for some reason when I look in the back end the User account is blocked, does activation need to be set to Self or Admin or something else when using Membership Pro?

Hi Graham

If you want the account to be activated automatically after users completed payment for their subscription, you can find and publish the OS Membership User plugin.

After doing that, please test it again and it should work as expected.

Thanks for getting back to me, if you mean the Plugin entitled 'OS Membership User' then yes it is active but still the same result.

That's strange. After users complete Paypal payment, is his subscription record set to Pending or Active ?

It was Pending but I have found the problem, incorrect email address! It was a .com and not .co.uk as I was told!

I am having the exact same issue. All my new users are Pending, and they are not automatically activated. I have both published and unpublished the plugin you mentioned, but no change.

Could you please give us more information :

1. What payment method you are using ?

2. Do you see the subscription record set to Active after you completed payment ?

3. Could you please check and make sure you published the "OS Membership User" plugin ?

Thanks for repsonding, Tuan.

I am using Paypal as my payment method. I double checked, and yes the OS Membership user plugin is published. When you asked "Do you see the subscription record set to Active after you complete payment", I'm not sure what you mean therefore I don't know how or where to check that. If you could please give me further instructions I would appreciate it.

You can simply go to Membership Pro->Subscribers, look at the subscription record to see it's status. Is it clear ? Maybe to save time, you can talk to me directly on Skype. My Skype nick name is tuanpnves.
