My question for the setting 'Remove from Joomla Groups" - "Choose the groups you want to remove users from when their subscription for this plan expired"

Selecting a group for the Remove from Joomla Groups, will this remove the users from the group putting them in limbo, or does it re-assign them to the selected group when their subscription runs out.

This is how I need it to work and thought this is how it would work.

I have 2 Joomla Groups: (Current) & (Expired)
I manually add uses who expire to the Expired group from the Current group.

If I understand the "Remove from Joomla Groups", the selected group of Expired will assign those whose subscriptions end to the Expired group? Or does it remove them from the Expired group?

I need it so that it will assign them to a group when their subscription runs out.

Hi

The remove from Joomla Groups setting doesn't assign user to the selected groups. It will remove users from the selected groups. So in your case, we will need to customize the plugin alitle. If you want, you can submit a support ticket sending me FTP account of your site so that I can customize it for you.

Thank you,

I'm currently testing on a localhost machine, so there is no real hosting just testing out the add-ons.
When I figure out the ins and outs of your application I will make it live, then I will more than likely submit a ticket with my FTP information for assistance.

Also I noticed, if I set the expire date as for example: 2013-02-20 20:00:00 , the expire function will disregard time and only look for date change.
Is there a way to have it also expire after a certain time expires?
We do 12hr downloads to come of our smaller vendors.

Hi Nathan

At the moment, it only check the expired data, not checking time. But I will adding support for checking time to the extension soon (in less than 2 weeks from today).
