TAGS was created by Pablo Del Pino
Dear Tuan,

I need to send the confirmation email to my users when they have made the payment, the following details

User: [USERNAME]
Password: [PASSWORD]

Is this possible?

Since I've put these tags but it doesn't work.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

Hi Pablo

Unfortunately, these tags are not available. However, you can go Membership Pro -> Configuration, find the config option Send activation email, set it to Yes

After that, there will be a different email sending username and password to users after they completed the subscription. Please check it and give it a try.

Dear Tuan,

I've done what you've mentioned, but when the user uses the link of activation shows error 403.

Can you help me with this?

Muchas gracias.

Hi Pablo

Maybe you disable user registration on your site and it causes the issue? Could you please go to Users-> Users Manage, click on Options button on the toolbar, set "Allow User Registration" to Yes and try again.

Also, please go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, unpublish the OS Membership -> User plugin, too.

Please do the two above steps, then try again and It should works as expected.

Hi Tuan,

I had a similar issue. I followed the instructions that you gave to Pablo and now the activation link is working! However, if I allow the user registration then there is conflict between the data entered while creating an account and the date created when subscribing to the page. Moreover, it is confuser for an user if they should create an account or subscribe first.

Let say that I as a user create an account with the email ss@xx.com then when I want to subscribe I can not use the same email to subscribe...

any help of how can I avoid to have the account registration on the page without having the error 403??

Thank you!!

Hi Alejandro

I think the simplest way is that you force all registration must be performed via Membership Pro, not via Joomla core anymore. To do that, go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find and publish the OS Membership -> Registration Redirect plugin.

To allows users who has an account can continue subscribe, go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, find the config option "Show login box on subscription paga", set it to Yes.

After that, users who have account will be able to login before continue subscription and won't get the problem email could not be used.

Could you please try the solution I mentioned and let me know the result ?
