Installment Payments

I am trying to adopt Membership Pro for online course payment plan. Students have the option of paying their course tuition in one payment or 3 equal monthly installments. I am having difficulty figuring out how, or even if, I can do this. Obviously, for the one time payment, it's relatively straightforward

For the installment payment, I set the price at 1/3 the full price, set the duration to 30 days (to get monthly installments, and set Recurring to Yes and 3.

My questions are:
1. For Recurring, does it count the initial payment as 1, or is 3 the number times their PayPal card will be charged after the first payment--for a total of 4 payments
2. How do I remove the Duration from showing on the page?

Finally, is there any option for a Cart? I really want students to be able to enroll in multiple courses at one time.

I work on some improvements to recurring subscription during this weekend. I will send you updated version on tomorrow with detailed instructions how to setup it to work in the way you want. Please give me about 12 to 16 more hours .

First off, I completed new version which added some improvements to recurring subscription. Your requirement is quite simple, you can setup it as follow :

1. Set the price to 1/3 full price .

2. Set the duration to 30 .

3. Leave trial duration and trial price to empty.

4. Set Number Payments to 3.

After that, your users will be charged total 3 times, each time they will be charge 1/3 full price .

There are no cart options in the extension.

Do I need to download the new version and install it?

For your requirement, no need to use the new version. But you still should upgrade because the new version contains improvements . We should always use latest version of any products.
