Bulk Import of users

Hi,

Is there a way to do a bulk or a group import of users into the membership database? We have a lot of subscribers that would like to import from .csv into our site.

At the moment, the feature is not implemented yet, but I think I will consider adding support for it into future release. Could you please post a sample of csv file here ? Also, if we import users via a CSV file, where do we get username and password of the users ? And how do we know which Membership Plan users will be assigned to ?

Thank you for your quick reply.

Our .CSV might be a little specific. We are basically a non-for-profit association who charge a set $ amount (let's say $10) per annum for membership to our club and we don't offer any other types of memberships/subscriptions. So for example, our current CSV file includes:
Name, Family name, Street # and Name, Suburb, Zipcode, State, email address, membership expiry (1st of each month)

As we are setting up our website, we never had a need for username/password, so there are no fields in the .CSV however, I assume initially we can add the two fields but somehow force users to change their passwords after the first login.

Thanks for giving us the information. I will think more about it and I believe I will come with a flexible solution which can be used by all customers. Give me sometime. I will update you when this feature is available (should be in less than two weeks) .

I have a similar situation... I've got over 800 paid subscribers in a database, and I'd like to move them all to Membership Pro. I would need to be able to import all the user information, subscription start date, subscription end date and renewal information. At the moment I can only do this manually, and that kills my time. Will your update handle this as well?

I am afraid of we cannot import renewal information . I don't really see a way we can store these information in a CSV file
