Membership Pro installation error

I've received via mail the file:
com_osmembership.zip
I'm using Joomla 1.5 and when I install it I get this error:
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
How can I install it?

I replied Pietro via support ticket. Here it is again in case someone has the same questions : Membership Pro is now only support Joomla 1.6, 1.7, 2.t5 and 3.0. It doesn't support Joomla 1.5 anymore. That's the reason it could not be installed on a Joomla 1.5 website .

I'm getting the same installation error in Joomla 3.0 when trying to install the emailed package com_osmenmbership.zip.

That's strange. When did you downloaded the extension ? If you downloaded in more than 24 hours, could you please download it again ? Today, I just fixed one issue (and added one improvement) to File Upload custom field feature.

If you still see the error, maybe you can submit a support ticket sending me administrator account of your site so that I can install it for you.

Thank you - a fresh download solved that issue. But now unfortunately I have another: following registration I get a purely blank page. It goes to url/register?task=process_subscription and it's a white screen. Do you know what might be causing this?

Also, no emails are being sent where the email system config is working properly - tested, etc.

Any hints?
