Is it possible to add a login box to a module? I see that the login appears on the registration page, but I'd like people to login from the front page.
Perhaps I'm missing how to integrate this with the joomla login?
You can simply use Joomla Login module. That's because Membership Pro is integrated with Joomla users database. When one user subscribes to a subscription plan, Membership Pro will also create a Joomla account for him as well.
