Stop normal registrations

Is there a way to stop people registering using the normal Joomla registration page.
I need to force them to pick a plan to register.

I think you can use Redirect Plugin in Joomla 1.7/2.5 for this task. Basically, you can setup it so that when users access to normal Joomla registration page, they will be redirected to Membership Plans page so that they can pick a plan to register. Go to Extensions -> Redirect and you should be able to do the setup.

I have just tried that but It does not seem to work.
That is of course if I have done it right :laugh:
