Hi
You just need to transfer all the files from new folder to root folder. No need to use Akeeba backup /
Regards,
Tuan

OK just so that I know what I am doing.
I will download files from new folder via FTP
Then upload to Root via FTP
Is this the correct way to do it?

That's the correct way. If you have cpanel account, maybe you can zip the files from new folder, then download it, upload it to root folder and extract the zipped file (this can be done via cpanel).
That would be the quicker way. Otherwise, the way mentioned is correct (it will just take longer time)

OK Thanks for the answer.
I was just worried about getting permissions on files/folders changed during download.
I do have cPanel so I will zip it etc.
