Subscriber management

I have been using Membership Pro for the past three years for a theatre membership list. For most people it works well but I have a very elderly membership that are quite antagonistic towards some aspects of the way Membership Pro operates. Many of them use a shared email. Many are not very computer literate and I have lost count of the confused records I have had to sort out because one member has renewed the memberships for two people by changing user without logging out. The other gripe I get is not being able to pay using one credit card payment for more than one person in a single transaction.
What is the possibility of configuring Membership Pro so that the unique identifier is something other than the email address is my first question.
My second question is can it be arranged for couples/families to be able to manage all their records from one page but retain individual membership numbers?

1. In Joomla, each user/subscriber needs to have his unique email. And that could not be changed

2. For your other questions, I guess you can use group membership. So one can subscribe for the plan and then manage members of his group. See docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/adva...res/group-membership
