I've created a custom field for our members to use as a biography/profile for display in the members list. Unfortunately, the best it allows at the moment is a plain textarea without any rich text styling...it makes for really ugly and boring profiles. I use TinyMCE as our editor elsewhere on the site and have a minimalist profile I'd love to apply to styling that custom field. However, despite two days of playing with overrides I haven't managed to make it work for just that field. The simplest solution long term would be support for the editor field type and have it appear in the custom fields "Field Type" option. It's great having the editor options on the back end for email and page design...it'd be super helpful to have it work in the front end too!
