Upgrade Plan with same duration but with priceadjustment of the time it has left

We are using the membership Pro for a complex Subscription-Plan selling site for a customer.
The upgrading with diffrent plans are working great. And we keeb the duration of the original Plan / startingdate that the user bought. But as the planupgrades also need to cover a specific scenario.

The Plan A is bought at the 01.01.2018 and it is value for 1 Year.

Then the user is upgrading to a Plan A+ which included a new feature. The Plan A+ is 365$ per Year. So if the user is upgrading on the same day as he bought the Plan A he should pay the 365$.

But when the user is buying after 3 Month he should only pay the 275$ that are left for the rest of the 9 Month.

Any ideas?

Am I correct that when user upgrade, they will keep the same duration as original plan? If so, we don't have support for this option at the moment. Maybe I can try to add support for it in the future (could be next release)

Yes the Plan is that they will keep the same duration as the original plan.
They can always renew the plan and extend for an other year. But if they upgrade the original Timestart / end is given.

But the upgrade payment-calculation should be regarding the time until the renew of the original time.

Please add this to the - ToDo. But you will have to send me the change via git/code / changelog. As I had to adjust some of the original code
