style specific label?

How can I style JUST the word "Coupon"?  

Is there a way to add a class to this specific control-group or label so that I can target it with some css?

You can get this file, unzip it, upload the received file to components/com_osmembership/view/register/tmpl folder on your site. The div tag will has a new class osm-coupon-container to allow you to apply custom styling to the label

I will include this small change in next release of the extension, so you don't have to worry about it when updating to future releases of the extension
