Recurring Subscription with no Trial Period

I want to have a recurring plan with a setup fee, but not offer a trial period. I enable "Recurring Subscription" and leave "Trial amount" and "Trial Duration" empty as well as "Number Payments" because I do not want a limit. And I enter a setup price. The problem is that the signup page shows Trial Price as the following…

Trial Duration Price = setup price + monthly price
Regular subscription price = monthly price

Since there is no trial, it should show the Setup Price instead of Trial Duration Price.

How can I fix this?

Unfortunately, it could not be fixed/changed. Since you have setup price, the first payment and the following payments have different amount, so the system has to use show amount of the first payment into Trial Amount setting

Maybe you can go to Membership Pro -> Translation, find that Trial Amount text and change it to different text you want, for example, change it to First Month Payment or First Payment...

That doesn't really make sense. Why does it have to show Trial amount when there is no trial offered? It should be like this:

Setup Price: $XX.XX
Trial Price: $XX.XX
Recurring Price: $XX.XX
Total Due Today: $XX.XX

If I change Translation, then I won't be able to offer Trial on any plans.

Due to technical requirement (as I mentioned above, setup price needs to be added to trial amount because it's actually the trial amount passed to payment gateway)

Has anything ever become of this? It is really a problem because if there is a setup fee on a recurring membership, the setup fee shows as a trial fee. Couldn't it be displayed correctly on the signup form and then combined with trial amount before passing to the gateway?
