[15-June-2026] Membership Pro version 4.6.0 released

Dear customers !

I’m happy to announce the release of Membership Pro version 4.6.0! This release contains below improvements/changes in this release:

1. Converted All Plugins To Modern Services Provider Structure

All plugins in Membership Pro (there are many) are converted to modern services provider structure in this release. This is to make sure the extension follow Joomla best practices and continue working well with future releases of Joomla.

2. Added Signature Field Type

This new field type allow your subscribers to sign electronically by drawing their signature directly on the form using a mouse, touch screen, or stylus.

3. Added New Payment Plugin

New payment plugin MP Worldline Hosted Checkout is added allow subscribers to pay for their subscriptions using  Worldline payment gateway. Works with different branches from Worldline includes  Worldline Global,  ANZ Worldline  and  Cawl Solutions (French)

4. Some small improvements and bugs fixes
- Support [SUBSCRIPTION_DETAIL] tag for subscription payment message
- Clearly mark username and password as required fields on subscription form
- Make phone number which users entered for Tel field type clickable
- Some small adjustment to backend UI to make it better

Some useful updates in this release.
One minor point:
- if a a user goes to edit their profile then retype password is shown as mandatory but not username or password. Surely retype isn't mandatory unless the password field value is changed.

I have MySites.guru set to auto-update your new releases, which it did this morning.

A customer later reported that registrations, though set to 12 months, are coming through with odd dates instead. 

 

I changed it to 1 year, tested it, and it calculated correctly.

It appears this issue was introduced with the latest update. This was not happening before the update.

There should be no change in latest update cause this issue. Could you please submit a support ticket so that I can check it directly on the site to see why the issue happens and get it sorted?

I don't know that it's worth all that - I changed the term from 12 months to 1 year, and that seems to have fixed it.

All new membership signups before the update was installed were calculated correctly for the expiration date. The five that occurred after the update were like the one in the image. I manually corrected those.

If you want to try to duplicate the issue, it was a free plan, and the term was set to 12 months. There were no upgrade options. Upon changing the plan to 1 year, subsequent registrations calculated correctly.

Is it a plan with fixed expiration date ? Or it is just a standard plan ?

I just tested 12 Months subscription plan and the date is calculated properly for me. Not sure if there is anything special on your site causes the wrong calcualation.

 

It's just a standard plan. Recurring is set to "No," and no other Renew, Upgrade, or discounts are set up.

If you're not seeing any problems, maybe it was some kind of quirk - when I changed from 12 months to 1 year, the next registration set the dates properly.
