I’m happy to announce the release of
Membership Pro version 4.5.2! This release contains improvements listed below:
1. Improve Authorize.net Payment Plugin
Allow subscribers to update credit card for their recurring subscriptions if needed (for example, when the closed their old credit card or old credit card is expired...)
2. Improve PayPal Payment Plugin
In earlier versions, the PayPal payment plugin (os_paypal) uses PayPal NVP API for refund and cancelling subscription. That API was deprecated by PayPal and will be removed in the future. So we migrated the payment plugin to use PayPal Rest API. If you want to be able to refund subscription or allow subscribers to cancel their recurring subscriptions, please follow instructions at

to configure new parameters (
Client ID,
Client Secret) for
os_paypal payment plugin after updating to this release.
3. Improve Subscription Export
In older version of Membership Pro, when you export subscriptions to Excel/CSV file, the header column contains name of the field, so it is not clear for admin. In this release, we added a new config option called
Export Column Header Format allow choosing between Field Name/Field Title for the export.
4. New Payment Plugins Added
We develop new payment plugins to support new payment gateways in this release:

5 Technical Improvements
Support Joomla Child Template: Now, when Membership Pro find layout override, it will try to find from both child and parent template
