[04-November-2021] Membership Pro version 2.26.0 released

Dear Customers

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of Membership Pro, version 2.26.0  with the following improvements and bugs fixes:

1. Added Categories Accordion Layout
This new menu item type provides an additional way to display plans to your users. It will display categories and plans inside each category using accordion format. 

2. Check Subscription Status using QRCODE Scanner
If you are using Member Card feature and want to check membership status of your members, you can now use built-in QR Code scanner. Just scan the QR CODE using your mobile and membership pro will show subscription status of that member, see  QRCODE Scanner  for detailed instructions to setup.

3. Featured Countries
This allows you to set the countries you want to be Featured so that it will be displayed at the top of the countries in the countries dropdown (so that it is easier for users to select these countries) if needed

4. Other small improvements and bugs fixes

- Improve System - Membership Schedule Content plugin, allows redirecting to certain menu item if someone tries to access to a protected article instead of throwing 403 error.
- Support [PLAN_URL] tag to allow add link to the plan in the email message
- Fix small typo prevents Membership Pro to show there is new version to update on Dashboard on Joomla 4
- Drop support for ACYMaiing version 5 for new installation.

Hi Tuan,
I've tried to upgrade to 2.26.0, but upgrade process finished with error. 

An error has occurred.

1054 Unknown column 'short_description' in '#__osmembership_subscribers'

Sorry Martin. There was a small typo. You can ignore that issue or access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site and the error won't happen anymore

As far as the Featured Country is concerned, a small feedback would be to add the column in this view administrator/index.php?option=com_osmembership&view=countries so we can see / assign featured countries easily.

Yes. That could work. But I want to think more about it. Maybe add ordering feature which allows you to change ordering of the countries to any orders you want like other items. That might work better

Maybe it is because you haven't configured Download ID for the site yet? See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/gettin...on#use-joomla-update for instructions. If you cannot figure out, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can help checking it further
