Select is nearly invisible

Joom Donation v7.6, Simple Donation layout
When recurring donations are enabled there is a nice dialog box for donors to select frequency and number of recurrences. Unfortunately, the little selection button/circle is nearly invisible and all they can see is a periodic donation frequency. Donors tell us they wanted to make a one-off donation but couldn't see how to do it.

Would it be possible to have another frequency option such as "Once" or similar? Then the prompt text could be as simple as "Donation frequency". We would set the default to "Once" with other frequencies  available from the dropdown.

There is already a clear One Time Donation option/button available for donors to select.
Could you please check that layout and see if it works better for your requirement?

Your example is excellent. It is not what we see on our site. You'll see from my uploaded example that I used Translation to try and help donors understand, but your example is much better.

The donation layout you showed in the screenshot is not the Multi-steps layout. It is the Simple layout.
Also, as shown in your screenshot, there is already a checkbox that allows users to choose the recurring donation option.
If that checkbox is not selected, the donation will be processed as a one-time donation. It is not possible for the donation to become recurring unless the user actively ticks that checkbox.

Respectfully, there is a misunderstanding. My first message started with: "Joom Donation v7.6, Simple Donation layout" and acknowledged "a nice dialog box for donors to select frequency and number of recurrences". You shared an example from the Multi-Step layout and I replied "It is not what we see on our site".

In the Simple Donation layout the little select button/circle is nearly invisible so the first thing some donors see on that line is the text about donation frequency. Donors tell us they wanted to make a one-off donation but couldn't see how to do it. You and I know the select button is there but I can't see it. The attached photo shows it much more clearly, but it is still poor.

I can imagine different ways to make it visible: higher contrast colours, a row of buttons as in the Multi-steps layout, or simply the addition of "Once Only" or similar as an option in the frequency dropdown selection.

Thank you for the clarification. I understand the issue better now.
You are right — this is related to the visibility of the selection button in the Simple Donation layout, not the Multi-steps layout. The option is technically there, but if donors cannot see it clearly, then it can certainly cause confusion.
Please create a support ticket and provide us with:
- Your site URL
- An administrator account
- The page URL where the Simple Donation layout is being used

Our staff will check it and adjust the CSS to make that selection button more visible for your donors.
