Donation Date

Is there a way to add the donation date to the acknowledgement letter to the donor?  If I have to create a custom field, how can I populate it with the date of the donation?

Please try adding the tag [DONATION_DATE] to your email template and test if it is automatically replaced with the date of the donation. This tag may allow the system to insert the correct donation date into your acknowledgement letter.
