Standardize captcha for all components

Hello OSTeam:

Some of our clients have several components on the website that use a form of captcha.
For instance, one site has: Convert Forms, Membership Pro, Joom Donation. 
We want to standardize captcha using the same one for all components.  We are considering hCaptcha or HashCash .
I know that Joomla 5 no longer supports reCaptcha (although oddly, it is still installed in some of our J5 sites) and, personally, would like to move away from it.

Problem
We installed hCaptcha on one of our sites. It works fine for Convert Forms (part of their package) and with Membership Pro.  But does not work with Joom Donation so we have to use the JD captcha.
We have disabled the JD captcha extension and plugin, and that did not work. 

Is there a solution for this problem?
