Custom fields not working right

To whom this may concern:

I am running the latest version of JoomDonation (5.10.2) on Joomla 5.0.1 (latest CMS version as well). I turned off caching on my global configuration and am clearing the cache on my browsers. I'm also testing on several computers.

I have issues with the custom fields:

1. Changing the "Required" status has no effect on the form: all the custom fields on my form must be filled out for the donation to work. 
2. Changing the "Published" status has no effect on the form either. Deleting and adding custom fields don't have any impact on my form either.

In other words, it seems the custom fields functionality is 100% broken.
  Please let me know if you have any idea what's going on!

Hi Fred,
1. To make the fields not required. You should open field for modifying and make sure 2 below points
- Select No in option: Require
- Empty value of "Validation rule" - Validate[require]
2. With other issues with custom fields, you can submit ticket on category: Joom Donation and provide your site credentials. We will check and help you to solve them
