JD 5.9.14 Bug: Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem

I installed the latest JoomDonation 5.9.14 on my test site, I'm getting this error when I go to the front end donation form:

0 Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::getItem()

If I roll back to JoomDonation 5.9.13, the error goes away. 

PHP 7.4
Gantry Hydrogen Theme
Joomla 3.10.11

Please re-download and install latest Joom Donation version to get resolved issue.

I also updated yesterday and had the same issue, re-downloding the latest version and re-installing has fixed the issue for me.
