Hi Alisa,
You just need to install JD Square through tool: Manage Payment Plugins at Backend of component. And then, you open the plugin and enter your Square credentials for using. Remember to publish the plugin also

I suppose I'm having trouble figuring out where to find the correct information in Squareup to add to the plugin backend.

Solved. Once I figured out that Square Developer needed to be configured in order to get an API token. All good! Thanks for your help :-)
