Donate less than a dollar was created by Ron Pierce

Hello,
I have a client who wants to offer suggested donation amounts that are not even dollars. For example, $26.25/month (recurring donation). But Joom Donation only processes $26.00, not recognising the $0.25 amount.
How do I get this so donors can give amounts that are not in even dollar amounts?
What am I missing?

I set my predefined amount to 10.25 and it shows up on the form that way. Are you saying it does not actually process the right amount? I can't imagine the payment gateway would care.

Hi Dave,I tried a donation of $2.25 ....see screenshot below. When I go to process the donation, an error message comes up asking me to change this to $2.00 or $3.00This is using Stripe. I have also tried this with PayPal...same thing.Thanks any help....

What's the minimum amount in the Global Configuration set to? Is it set to $3 for the minimum? The payment gateway is not controlling that setting. I don't know if gateways have minimums. They only recommend not setting it too low so criminals are not testing stolen cards on the form.

I set the minimum to $2.00 for test purposes. I made a few $2 donations, no problem.
On another site I had a person trying to donate an amount like $750.50 (I don't remember the exact amount), but they were not allowed to donate without rounding up or down (750, or 751).
So, I suspect it's some setting in Joom Donation.

Hi Rpierce,
It seems you are having with Custom Donation amount field, you can raise new ticket on category: Joom Donation and provide your site url with super admin account. I will create the override layout of Donation form and solve the issue for you

Why would anyone need to donate in less than $1 amounts though? Especially when you donate $750 dollars. What's $.50 for?
