Default donation layout never changes

hello,
The Default donation layout switch does nothing for the layout is always set on default regardless of the toggle position in the admin panel.
It has been verified with the php debugger in "view/donation/html.php"; I guess I've been missing something ?
jdonation 8.2 with joomla 3.9.23

Hi Verwaerde,
You should make sure in menu to layout: Joom Donation - Donation form, you already selected option: "Simple Donation layout". In that menu's parameters form, tab: "Other Setting", there is a configure option: "Default layout", you should select layout through this parameter to make sure you have wanted Donation layout at frontend side.
