UK Gift Aid - PayPal

We are looking at using Joom Donation for our UK Charity - I wondered if any UK users have experience of collecting Gift AidGift Aid ?
PayPal has ( Pay Pal Donate
But Joom Donation does not support PayPal Donate.
Has anybody in the UK used Joom Donation with normal PayPal and been able to collect Gift Aid?

Hi Dam, We are wanting to implement Gift Aid in the UK as well and I have enabled it in PayPal as we are a registered charity www.st-andrews.church . Can you help further on this, thanks. Rick Johns

Hi Rick,
Some of my customers used "Custom Field - Checkbox" feature for Gift Aid field. I think you can do the same to add field in your Donation form

And how is the Gift Aid showing on your Donation form?

David thank you for that. Does this field merely alert you to the fact that the donor wants to Gift Aid their donation, and you have to manually apply that in PayPal? My understanding is that if you use PayPal buttons directly on your website and Gift Aid is enabled it produces a report of those donations that are Gift Aided. Using an ecommerce solution (such as Joom Donation) means this facility is not available on PayPal. They say as much on the page where you enable Gift Aid.

It shows like this (see Screnshot). we then use the back end to see who has selected gift aid.

David, OK thanks very much. It appears PayPal 'regular' doesn't link to ANY ecommerce system. It only works if you generate "pay now" buttons and insert the button code on your web page. So we have to go with the manual process.
