I am having 2 emails sent out to the donor when they make a recurring donation through stripe os (not stripe checkout).
If a donor makes a single donation instead of recurring then only 1 email is sent out but the donor is not created as a customer in stripe.
(** Update - I was informed that the donor will not be created in stripe for a one time donation only for recurring.)
Any ideas why this double email issue is happening?
It wouldn't let me add another comment on the ticket we had going for this issue because it looks like you closed the ticket but what I wanted to know is if I install Joom Donation on another site am I going to have the same issue with duplicate emails being sent out?
Thanks for fixing this issue on the site I was having problems on but need to know how to fix it myself if I install it again ... or are you saying that new installs will work without sending out the duplicate emails?
I may be having this same issue. It is sending out two emails, one saying "One Time" the other saying "Recurring"; also, in the back end, it is recording the recurring donation both as recurring and as one-time (see screenshot attached).
