Two questions

Hi there,

I have just started using Joom Donation and I have two questions:

1. The goal is £168,000, but they have already had some donations. Where can I set a 'starting amount' towards the goal
2. On this page www.drb-holding3.co.uk/donations on the donation form, I need to set the currency symbol to £ so it shows in the thermometer, but then when I change the donation currency, it always shows £. Is there any way to change this?

Hi David,
1. Joom Donation doesn't have feature to setup the starting amount. Because component will calculate the total donated amount automatically.
2. As i see in your Donation form, i see the icon £ beside the Amount field.

1. This contradicts what you wrote in a pre-sales question on ticket #87483. You wrote "You can update donated amount through management tool at Backend side"
2. There is a £ icon besides the amount field, but it doesn't change if the user changes the currency.

1. Yes, you can update donated amount at Backend of Joom Donation, for example, you can create new donation from Backend with starting amount. But Joom Donation doesn't have option to setup the default starting amount for any campaign.
2. Currently, Joom Donation doesn't have feature to change currency symbol when you select currency in the dropdown select list.

Ok, I understand, so you just put in a donation to make the total the starting value. That makes sense.
