Reference Number Secure Pay

Hi. How does the transaction reference that gets passed through to SecurePay get generated?

Is there a way to control this? The function I would specifically be looking for is for someone to select a particular field (eg. dropdown list) and for the transaction reference to be generated from that.

Alternatively, could the transaction id that the system generates be the same one that goes through to SecurePay?

Hi,
We have just checked source code, currently, the ID number of donor records are passed into Secure page, the Transaction ID isn't used in this case.

Hi Tim,
I am afraid that if we change the ID (of donor record) to Transaction ID, the notification system will not work properly. In additional, the Transaction ID in this case is temporarily characters, because it will be changed by Secure pay when it process the payment
