4th October 2018 - New Joom Donation version 5.4.9

The Joom Donation developer team are proud to announce the release of Joom Donation 5.4.9. This is a tenth release for the 5.4.x series of Joom Donation with new improvement and addresses issues introduced in previous versions.

What new in Joom Donation 5.4.9

1. Add Tributes feature
The Tributes allows admins to designate how your donors can indicate a person that they are giving in tribute of. Most commonly, this is used for “In Honor of” or “In Memory of”.


To use this feature, you need to Activate Tributes feature through Joom Donation Configuration page

You are also can decide to send the Thank you email to honoree. You can manage content of Honoree Thank you email in Joom Donation Configuration too.
Note: If you activate Campaign feature, you need to activate Dedicate feature in each Campaign, thus, in the Donation form of specific Campaign, the Dedicate field will be shown.


2. Improve Currency convert
New Currency convert function is more stable than previous versions

3. Improve Configuration, Campaign and Donor modification layouts
We improved those layouts to make them neat and easy to use

4. Improve payment library
New payment library is improved to work well with some payment gateways like First data payeezy..etc

This update broke my donation page. The page only had my logo and was blank white. I had to restore from backup and lost the latest Donor Record info.
Please look in this.
