Joomdonation Custom Fields Text Limit Issue

Hello friends.
We wish to solicit some additional input from our donors. We are experiencing an issue with character limits in both the text and text area custom fields we are trying to use for this purpose.
The donor can type a long message. However, we are receiving only a truncated version of that message. My rough count is about 255 limit.
We have inserted large numbers into the "max length" of the configuration, but it appears to have no affect.
Can you assist?

You can raise new ticket on category Joom Donation and provide your site url with super admin account, PHPMyAdmin url and account. I will help you to make the change in db structure to change attribute of columns: descriptions from Varchar to Text
