Tax is being charged

We are using version 3.8 of JoomDonation and we have noticed that it's charging tax for donations and our Events (eventBooking) too. We are using the PayPal and PayPal Pro payment options. I could not find any options in the configuration for JoomDonations for taxes. For Events, I noticed that there is a tax rate for each event but I have set those to $0. How can I prevent the tax from being added?

I believe this is a tax settings in your Paypal account? Could you try to turn of tax settings on your Paypal account and check it again ?

If you cannot turn off tax settings from your Paypal account, please let me know so that I can edit code to turn off tax from within the extensions
