[solved] Turning off required fields not working

Please edit the custom field, make sure the Validation Rules is empty. After that, it will work as expected

Not sure if this is a bug but the ajax options on the page listing all the fields does not change them. I turned off a bunch of the default required fields and it did not change them on the frontend.

I had to go into each field and click them to yes and save then no and save one at a time to get these fields to stop being required.

Also, none of the save and close buttons close the page. It only saves it and then you have to cancel to get out of that page. Been this way since I started using the component a few years ago. Any ideas?
