Pre-defined amounts are not shown in dropdown form

Even though I have selected "dropdown" as the format for pre-defined donation amounts, they are displayed in radio list format next to each other rather than below each other in a column.

It makes no difference whether I select 'dropdown' or 'radio list' as the pre-defined donation amount format. The frontend looks always the same as shown in the frontend display screenshot above.

I suspect that there might a CSS conflict, so maybe its best if you provide me with a CSS overwrite to put in my custom.css file.
