Couple of bugs was created by WACuser
Just installed the new version (3.7) as a fresh install (no upgrade)

1)
Donor form loads fine, but fields that are marked as NOT required, indeed do not receive the asterisk, but when you try to submit the form they still are marked as mandatory, making *all* fields mandatory independent of required is flagged or not. Tested both in firefox and chrome (see attached file for behavior.)

2)
sorting the payment plugins does not work. Clicking the up and down arrows reloads the page but items are in the same order. Giving items a new number and then saving reverts the edit and no reordering takes place. Result is that Paypal is always the default payment method unless I de-activate it.

Thanks

Hi WACuser

Could you please let us know when you downloaded version 3.7 ? Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can check it myself and get the issue fixed ?

Regards,

Tuan

In backend open each faulty item, then toggle required/not required and save item

Voila, fixed

Hans,

Sorry, but that is not the case. If you look at the attachment, note the fields flagged as mandatory, they do NOT have an asterisk. So, in the backend I indicated correctly that the fields are not mandatory. But the script checking to see whether all the mandatory fields are filled is apparently confused.

Infact, the correct solution would be edit the custom field, look at Require attribute. You will see that it set to No now. Click on Yes, then click no again, then Save and it will solve the issue.

I will check and make sure it works correct on your site. Will check it on tomorrow morning as I have spent the whole day today to complete new documentation fo Joom Donation :).

Regards,

Tuan

I think the reason of the error is because @WACuser used the original release of Joom Donation (which had some bugs because I re-wrote the code from scratch for that version and didn't test it carefully enough - install the current version should solve the issue)

@WACuser : Please see my response on your ticket. Need to have URL of your site so that I can install latest version and upgrade it to your site

Hi

Sorry. For some reasons, I don't see your tickets open anymore. Could you please send the information directly on the support ticket (don't send it to my email as I receive so many emails per day and might forgot to check).

As I mentioned some where, it seems the reason of the error is because you downloaded the extension about two weeks ago or so (that version has some small issues)

So I think download latest version from my downloads section, upgrade it to your site and it will work well

Regards,

Tuan
