I'm setting up my first donation form and was having trouble in test mode with Authorize.
I ran a donation through test mode and it failed.
So I decided to switch to live mode and test that.
I ran the donation again, for a different amount.
It looks like the transaction went through the system. I got a receipt from Authorize.net for my donation, but Joom Donation gave an error about a duplicate donation. In the back-end list of donors, the $10 donation isn't listed as Paid, so I never got any email receipt from my site.

Hi Winston
Joom Donation just pass the information which users entered on donation form to Authorize.net to process payment and Authorize.net handles the payment process.
So in this case, I am not sure what's the reason causing the error. Could you please help me contact Authorize.net and ask them for the reason of the error and let me know so that I can check it further ? Maybe it is just something in the settings of your Authorize.net account.

OK. I'll look into that and report back. Our person who controls the keys to the authorize account is out on vacation, so it will be a week, but I'll let you know what I find.

I have not. I haven't really started promoting my donation form yet. That's about to happen. I guess I need to test it to make sure it's really working.
I do believe that the original response is correct. It had sometihng to do with Authorize.
