Urgent - Spam attacks on Joom Donation

I was just looking at the jos_jd_donors database and saw that we have been having a lot of fake attempts at making donations or some kind of strange behaviour
In particular people have been using a url in the first name and last name and then an obvious spam email address. How can we prevent this?

Have you activated the captcha feature in Joom Donation to prevent that ? Maybe you can also install a third party extension called R-anti spam extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-...pam-protection/16331

That extension blocks spam very well, and you really should install it.

I checked and the option to enable the Captcha is set in the back end of the component.
I use captcha and ReCaptcha on other components.
Any idea what might stop this working?

Please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site. We will integrate recaptcha into Joom Donation for you to prevent spams.
