Display campaign description

I have several campaigns, which have descriptions within the campaigns. However, I am not seeing them on the front end.

I have a menu item of type Donation form, in which I have not selected a campaign, so the user can select which campaign.

I also have pages with a particular campaign shown, inserting the forms using this code: {jdform 2}

Through both methods, I am not seeing the description that has been placed in the backend for each campaign.

I have also tried adding the text within the message (Donation Page Message
The message displayed above the donation form), which does not show up either.

How can I get the campaign's description to show on the front end?
