A new custom filed type was created by Virginia Garnitz
How difficult would it be to add a custom field type such as this
it would be great for lists that have a variable number of items, such as "in memoriam" lists, or physical items to be donated

Adding a new custom field type will require many code modifications and require you to have good Joomla programming Skill. I think you will have to find a developer to help you !
