More space for text needed

I need to put some text above the first donation form. It is the text that appears based on what goes in the "Donation Page Message The message displayed above the donation form" box in the settings. At the moment I can get about 4 lines, but can I change a setting somewhere to put more?
Also, can I format this text in some way??

To make more room for the text, you will need to make some small change to database structure . Go to the database of your Joomla site (use phpmyadmin), look for t0r4j_jd_configs table, change data type for config_value column from Tinytext to Text.
