Show hidden donors as anonymous + was created by Frank Andrews
The Donor list is a great feature as is the option for donors to remain anonymous. I think it would be a good idea to have a single "Anonymous" showing the total of donations from those that have requested being hidden from the public list.

It would also be useful to add a field for the donor to select the form that their name is displayed if they prefer to show it differently to their name.

i.e. John Smith May want to Show:

"Smith"
or "J Smith"
or "John S"
or maybe he would want to show an organisation name such as "JS Software"

I agree.

Either a single "anonymous" listing, or individual listings each showing "Anonymous". Individual listings will make it look like more people are donating than if there was a single large "Anonymous" donor.

An extra field to let the donor enter the name to display as the Donor would be great.

This would let people enter things like "In the memory of John Doe", "From the class of 1995", etc. it could default to the Donor's name but they could enter anything they want.

Displaying the Donor Comments would be nice too.

I agree this would be a great feature...with one twist...How about simply displaying "x number of Anonymous Donors have contributed a Total of: $x".

As for the name part, I also think "In memory of", "In honor of", and "from" would be a great drop-down list item with the ability to add others in the back end by the admin, or the donor can choose "other" and a text box to enter their own item comes up. On behalf of an organization is also a good idea as mentioned previously.
