bypassing confirmation and redirecting page

has anyone tried bypassing the confirmation and redirecting page? I need to go straight from donation to paypal for a number of reasons : 1) less click 2)my menu-assigned templates gone all wrong.

Actually, related to the above question :
If I can't bypass these two pages.. perhaps someone can tell me either :
a)how to include itemid in the link, so that I don't get my 'home' template showing up. I'd like to have my default template showing up.
