Unable to reorder custom fields

I have set up custom fields and I can't change the order in which they appear. On the back end, if I go to fields management, I can see the column for 'order' but the boxes in that column all say '0' and don't let me change the order.

Please advise.

This is a great question. I also NEED to find a way to re-order the custom fields that I have added.

Could you please let "us" know how this can be done.
