Assign menu item instead of redirect to home page

I am using the Donation Thermometer module embedded in an article via loadposition. When I click on the Donate button, the user is redirected to the Home page (/index.php) where the Donation form appears. Is there a way to assign a menu item (other than Main menu root) for the donation forms? Ideally, I want to create a hidden menu so that clicking on the donate button will take me to a menu item with alias "/index.php/sponsor".

Hi All

If you using Joom Donation 2.9.1 (or newever version), please use the solution below :

1. Go to Joom Donation -> Configuration, find the config option Fix Donate Button not working, set it to Yes .

2. Edit the thermometer module, in the module parameter, you will see a parameter called Itemid. Please enter ID of the menu item you want into this parameter .

After that, it will work as expected .
