activate fields based on choice in form

Is it possible to activate fields (i.e. make them required) based on the input in the form?

for instance a user selects a specific field which requires him/her to add additional information. If he/she does not select the specific field the information is not required.

To be honest, I won't implement it into the extension in the near future . Atleast you will have to wait for 2 months to have this feature implemented into the extension .
