Description is not viewable in was created by Timothy Hicks

I have created an additional field. (see attached)

And I placed a description in the description field. But it is not viewable once published ( www.umfa.org/index.php?option=com_jdonat...jdonation&Itemid=114 )

Is there something I am doing wrong? I thought this area of the field allowed for a short description to better instruct what this area was for in the form.

I appreciate any help.

I am sorry for lately response . I was out of the office for two days and just come back to work today .
Regarding your question, the description of custom field is not displayed . However, we can do the customization for you so that It will be displayed as tooltip next to the field title . Is this meet your need ? Please let us know .

Hi,

yes, this will be fine for now. But, what is the description field for if it is not going to reside next, top or bottom of the actual field for user to view and understand better?
